Happy New Year – see you in 2015!

I want to thank you all for such a wonderful year! I have loved writing this blog, sharing with all of you, and reading all of your comments and emails over the past twelve months. I have said this before, but I am so grateful of the community of friends and fellow parents we have cultivated together here in Nairobi! I am also immensely proud of my 107 (!!) new posts published in 2014 (despite a severe drop in frequency in the last few months)!  With that in mind, I am really looking forward to getting back in the swing of things in the New Year.  What’s on the docket? A visit to Laihai House on the northern shore of Lake Naivasha, a day trip to Nairobi’s Safari Walk, and an evening visit to the Sheldrick Trust Elephant Orphanage, to put the baby elephants to bed…

Thanks to all of you for making blogging so fun, and for your ongoing support! It has been a great pleasure interacting with all of you this year, and I anticipate even more interesting exchanges in 2015. Happy New Year to all of you, and may 2015 bring you all the best!
